Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe is expecting twins next year. Mick van Dijke and his brother Tim will join the German WorldTeam from 2025. The two 24-year-old talents will primarily strengthen the team's classics group.&nbsp;Mick is already in his fourth WorldTour season, having won the Flanders Tomorrow Tour in 2021 and turned pro the following day. Doch mit nur einer Sekunde Vorsprung war die gute Platzierung alles andere als sicher. &nbsp; Auf der heutigen Schlussetappe kam es auf den letzten zehn Kilometern zum Schlagabtausch. Und wieder entschied der Bonussprint kurz vor dem Ziel das Rennen: Danny van Poppel gewann zwei Sekunden Zeitgutschrift und lag damit nur noch fünf Sekunden hinter Platz zwei. Im Zielsprint wenige Kilometer später spielte er dann seine Endschnelligkeit aus. Zwar musste er sich dem Gesamtsieger Mads Pedersen geschlagen geben, überquerte aber als Zweitschnellster die Ziellinie. 8th stage - 2nd victory.&nbsp;Primož Roglič has added another chapter to his impressive Grand Tour history.&nbsp;Today's win is his 21st stage victory in one of the three grand tours.&nbsp;But it wasn't the hunt for records that was decisive today - the hunt for seconds is currently taking centre stage.&nbsp;&nbsp;Roglič has made up almost a minute on the current leader of the Vuelta over the past two days. He remains in second place in the overall standings, now 3:49 minutes behind Ben O'Connor. With the stage win, Roglič also takes the lead in the mountain classification and will start tomorrow in the blue dotted jersey. The third stage of the Deutschland Tour was over 200 kilometres long and featured more than 3300 metres of climbing - and yet it was a sprinter who came out on top. &nbsp; In addition to a stage win, the overall classification of the Deutschland Tour is on the agenda for Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe this year. As the race developed more and more into a bunch sprint, the team set its sights on the first passage of the finish line in Villingen-Schwenningen. It was a proper sprint as the stakes were high. A total of 3 bonus seconds were awarded to the fastest rider - Danny van Poppel won confidently, securing the time credit and moving up to 3rd place in the GC. He knows this place from last year, when it was the Dutchman's first ever GC result. &nbsp; But there were still 8 kilometres to go. The day's victory was waiting. As in Heilbronn, no rider was able to get past Jonathan Milan today. In Heilbronn Jordi Meeus was second - today he was on the podium again, finishing third. &nbsp; Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe leads the team classification ahead of the final stage.

Etappe der Deutschland Tour war über 200 Kilometer lang, bot mehr als 3300 Höhenmeter – und trotzdem jubelte am Ende ein Sprinter. &nbsp; Neben einem Tagessieg steht für Red Bull -&nbsp;BORA - hansgrohe die Gesamtwertung der Deutschland Tour in diesem Jahr auf der Agenda. Als das Rennen sich immer mehr in Richtung eines Massensprints entwickelte, nahm das Team bereits die erste Zielpassage ins Visier. Wie ein Sprint wurde auf den Zielstrich in Villingen-Schwenningen zugefahren, denn es ging um viel. Ganze 3 Bonussekunden wurden für den Schnellsten vergeben –&nbsp;Danny van Poppel gewann souverän, sicherte sich die Zeitgutschrift und sprang vor auf den 3. Platz der Gesamtwertung. After six of 21 stages, the best young rider of the Vuelta a España 2024 is Florian Lipowitz. This means a change of colour for Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe at the stage finish in Yunquera. The team gives up the red jersey - the white jersey is added.&nbsp;It was a race day that was characterised by the battle for the breakaway group in the first half. With 110 kilometres to go, Florian Lipowitz was able to catch up with a few chasers to the front. As the best-placed rider in the group, the 23-year-old even rode in the virtual red jersey for a while.&nbsp;The battle for the lead flared up in the second half of the race. With 25 kilometres to go, O'Connor rode solo at the front, followed by a group around Lipowitz 2 minutes later and the peloton around Primož Roglič more than 5 minutes behind. On the climb to the stage finale, the lead at the front continued to grow and was 4:33 minutes ahead of the second-placed rider at the finish line. Das Team gibt das Rote Trikot ab – das Weiße Trikot kommt neu dazu.&nbsp;Es war ein Renntag, der in der ersten Hälfte vom Kampf um die Ausreißergruppe geprägt war. 110 Kilometer vor dem Ziel konnte Florian Lipowitz mit einigen Verfolgern zur Spitze aufschließen. Three riders from Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe finished the short opening time trial in the top 10.&nbsp;Just like a year ago.&nbsp;Once again, Danny van Poppel was the team's fastest rider.  This time, the start of the only German stage race led through Schweinfurt - the home town of SRAM's largest site in Europe. Only 2.9 kilometres long, the prologue was an intense effort for all riders. Full gas from the start ramp to the finish line. More than 3 minutes at the limit. Danny van Poppel completed the course in 3'20"86 and was just 4 seconds behind the day's winner Jonathan Milan in 6th place.
