Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe is expecting twins next year. Mick van Dijke and his brother Tim will join the German WorldTeam from 2025. The two 24-year-old talents will primarily strengthen the team's classics group.&nbsp;Mick is already in his fourth WorldTour season, having won the Flanders Tomorrow Tour in 2021 and turned pro the following day. This year, he was runner-up in the Dutch ITT championships and recently placed at the front in the sprints of the Tour de Wallonie.&nbsp;Tim made a name for himself at Paris-Roubaix in the spring and reached the velodrome in the group sprinting for a top 10 place. Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe erwartet im nächsten Jahr Zwillingszuwachs. Mick van Dijke und sein Bruder Tim wechseln ab 2025 in das deutsche WorldTeam. Danny van Poppel finished second in the Deutschland Tour 2024. After finishing third last year, the Dutchman once again made it onto the podium of Germany's only stage race. &nbsp; This year's Deutschland Tour was once again a chase for seconds. The preliminary decision was made on yesterday's selective queen's stage, when van Poppel climbed onto the GC podium. But with a lead of just one second, his position was far from secure. &nbsp; On today's final stage, the final ten kilometres were a fierce battle. Once again it was the bonus sprint just before the finish that decided the race: Danny van Poppel won two seconds and was only five seconds behind second place. Danny van Poppel beendet die Deutschland Tour 2024 als Zweiter. Nach seinem dritten Platz im Vorjahr steht der Niederländer erneut auf dem Podium des einzigen deutschen Etappenrennens. &nbsp; Auch in diesem Jahr entwickelte sich die Deutschland Tour zu einer Sekundenjagd. Erst auf der gestrigen selektiven Königsetappe fiel die Vorentscheidung, als van Poppel auf das GC-Podium kletterte. Doch mit nur einer Sekunde Vorsprung war die gute Platzierung alles andere als sicher. &nbsp; Auf der heutigen Schlussetappe kam es auf den letzten zehn Kilometern zum Schlagabtausch. Und wieder entschied der Bonussprint kurz vor dem Ziel das Rennen: Danny van Poppel gewann zwei Sekunden Zeitgutschrift und lag damit nur noch fünf Sekunden hinter Platz zwei. Im Zielsprint wenige Kilometer später spielte er dann seine Endschnelligkeit aus. Zwar musste er sich dem Gesamtsieger Mads Pedersen geschlagen geben, überquerte aber als Zweitschnellster die Ziellinie. 8th stage - 2nd victory.&nbsp;Primož Roglič has added another chapter to his impressive Grand Tour history.&nbsp;Today's win is his 21st stage victory in one of the three grand tours.&nbsp;But it wasn't the hunt for records that was decisive today - the hunt for seconds is currently taking centre stage.&nbsp;&nbsp;Roglič has made up almost a minute on the current leader of the Vuelta over the past two days. He remains in second place in the overall standings, now 3:49 minutes behind Ben O'Connor. With the stage win, Roglič also takes the lead in the mountain classification and will start tomorrow in the blue dotted jersey. 8. Etappe - 2. Sieg. Primož Roglič hat seiner beeindruckenden Grand-Tour-Geschichte ein weiteres Kapitel hinzugefügt. Der heutige Etappensieg ist bereits der 21. Tageserfolg bei einer der drei großen Landesrundfahrten. Doch nicht die Jagd nach Rekorden war heute entscheidend - die Jagd nach Sekunden steht derzeit im Mittelpunkt. &nbsp; Fast eine Minute hat Roglič in den vergangenen zwei Tagen auf den aktuellen Leader der Vuelta gutgemacht. In der Gesamtwertung liegt er unverändert auf Rang zwei, nun 3:49 Minuten hinter Ben O'Connor. Mit dem Etappensieg übernimmt Roglič auch die Führung in der Bergwertung und wird morgen im blau-gepunkteten Trikot an den Start gehen. The third stage of the Deutschland Tour was over 200 kilometres long and featured more than 3300 metres of climbing - and yet it was a sprinter who came out on top. &nbsp; In addition to a stage win, the overall classification of the Deutschland Tour is on the agenda for Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe this year. As the race developed more and more into a bunch sprint, the team set its sights on the first passage of the finish line in Villingen-Schwenningen. It was a proper sprint as the stakes were high. A total of 3 bonus seconds were awarded to the fastest rider - Danny van Poppel won confidently, securing the time credit and moving up to 3rd place in the GC. He knows this place from last year, when it was the Dutchman's first ever GC result. &nbsp; But there were still 8 kilometres to go. The day's victory was waiting. As in Heilbronn, no rider was able to get past Jonathan Milan today. In Heilbronn Jordi Meeus was second - today he was on the podium again, finishing third. &nbsp; Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe leads the team classification ahead of the final stage.

Es sollte die Königsetappe werden und sie ging im Massensprint zu Ende. Die 3. Etappe der Deutschland Tour war über 200 Kilometer lang, bot mehr als 3300 Höhenmeter – und trotzdem jubelte am Ende ein Sprinter. &nbsp; Neben einem Tagessieg steht für Red Bull -&nbsp;BORA - hansgrohe die Gesamtwertung der Deutschland Tour in diesem Jahr auf der Agenda. Als das Rennen sich immer mehr in Richtung eines Massensprints entwickelte, nahm das Team bereits die erste Zielpassage ins Visier. Wie ein Sprint wurde auf den Zielstrich in Villingen-Schwenningen zugefahren, denn es ging um viel. Ganze 3 Bonussekunden wurden für den Schnellsten vergeben –&nbsp;Danny van Poppel gewann souverän, sicherte sich die Zeitgutschrift und sprang vor auf den 3. Platz der Gesamtwertung. Diesen Platz kennt er bereits aus dem Vorjahr, damals war es die erste GC-Platzierung überhaupt für den Niederländer. &nbsp; Aber noch waren 8 Kilometer durch die Doppelstadt zu fahren. Der Tagessieg wartete. Wie bereits in Heilbronn kam auch heute kein Fahrer an Jonathan Milan vorbei. In Heilbronn wurde Jordi Meeus Zweiter – heute landete er erneut auf dem Tagespodium und wurde Dritter. &nbsp; Vor der Schlussetappe führt Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe die Teamwertung an.
