Finn Fisher-Black second New Zealand signing for Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe

Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe continues its talent strategy: Finn Fisher-Black will join the team in 2025. The young New Zealander is particularly strong on undulating terrain and in demanding finishes.

Like his compatriot Laurence Pithie, who has just been introduced as a new member of the German team, Fisher-Black is only 22 years old. He joined the WorldTour as a 19-year-old - and has made impressive steps ever since. He also showed his talent in his Grand Tour debut, the 2023 Vuelta a España, in the steep Bejes finale. This year, he has already claimed three victories and most recently finished third overall at the Vuelta a Burgos.

I’m really excited to start a new chapter in my career with Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe next season. The team has made some big moves this year and is a project where I can really see myself grow further as a rider. I’ve learnt a lot in my first years in the WorldTour but now it’s time to find my Wings.

"With Finn, we were able to recruit another great talent who had his breakthrough this season. He wins both solo and small group sprints and is fast in shorter TTs. And he does it all with a lot of confidence, even though he's still young. That makes him an exciting rider with great potential."
